FAQ

Frequently asked questions about AURA.

If you can't find the answer to your question, write to our technical team; let's evaluate it together for your project.

What is the difference between AURA 2, AURA 12 and AURA 32?

Only the number of universes that can be played and recorded: 2, 12 or 32 universes (1,024, 6,144 or 16,384 DMX channels). The housing, settings and other features are the same.

How do I change the show on AURA?

You prepare the new scene in MADRIX 5 and record it to AURA, or upload the scene file to the card via USB or Ethernet with MADRIX HARDWARE MANAGER. The device does not need to be removed.

Does AURA connect directly to luminaires?

No. AURA sends data over the network as Art-Net or sACN. DMX512 luminaires are reached with STELLA or LUNA, SPI pixels with NEBULA; nodes from other brands can also be used.

Can I change the show according to the time of day?

Yes. Thanks to the internal clock and the sunrise and sunset timers, different scenes play at different times; the lights switch on automatically in the evening and off in the morning.
