What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. They make the site work properly, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used.
This policy explains which cookies we, Motto Aydınlatma Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., use at mottolight.com.tr, for what purpose and for how long. How your personal data is processed in general is set out in the KVKK Privacy Notice.
Cookies we use
There are three types of cookies on our site. Essential cookies always run; analytics and external content cookies are used only if you give your consent. Unless you consent, the Google Analytics tag does not run and maps are not loaded.
- Essential cookies: required for the site to run securely and to remember your cookie preference; they cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies: help us measure which pages attract interest and how the site is used through aggregate statistics. We do not use this information to identify you personally or to show you ads.
- External content cookies: Google Maps on the contact and project pages uses Google’s cookies, because the map is loaded from Google’s servers.

No advertising or remarketing cookies are used on our site.
Legal basis
Essential cookies are based on subparagraphs (c) and (f) of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), that is, on their being necessary for providing the service and for our legitimate interest. Analytics and external content cookies are used only on the basis of your explicit consent under paragraph 1 of Article 5 of the KVKK.
Transfer abroad
Data collected through Google Analytics and Google Maps may be processed on Google’s servers abroad. This transfer is based on the consent you give to the relevant cookies and on Article 9 of the KVKK. If you do not consent, these services do not run and your data is not transferred to Google.
Managing your preferences
On the banner that appears on your first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones or choose them one by one under “Preferences”. You can update your decision at any time by changing your cookie preferences or through the “Cookie preferences” link at the very bottom of the page.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, your cookie preference will not be remembered and the banner will reappear.
