LUNA brings DMX distribution into the rack cabinet. In the control room, backstage or the building’s technical space, it sits in the same cabinet as the computer, network switch and amplifiers; the DMX lines to the luminaires leave from the XLR sockets on the front panel.
Three sizes, the same logic
LUNA 4 and LUNA 8 are one rack unit high, LUNA 16 two. Each output carries one DMX universe; the 5-pin XLR input is used to bring a DMX console’s data into the system. In larger systems several LUNA units work on the same network, and with sync mode all universes are updated in the same frame.
Why fanless?
Technical rooms are enclosed and dusty. A device with no fan that draws less than 5 W does not heat up, make noise or need maintenance. The metal housing and NEUTRIK connectors also stand up to cables that are frequently plugged and unplugged.
