Which personal data do we process?

Depending on how you contact us, we may process the following data:

• Identity information: your first and last name.
• Contact information: your email address and phone number.
• Professional information: the company or institution you work for.
• Request information: the subject of your request, the products you are interested in, the project location, your message and the files you attach (facade photo, drawing, etc.).
• Transaction security information: technical records kept in our website’s server logs, such as IP address, date and time, and browser information.

We ask that you attach only documents related to your project in the form’s file field, and that you do not share data unrelated to your request, such as identity documents, or special categories of personal data such as health or religion.

For what purposes do we process your data?

• To receive, evaluate and respond to your requests for information, price quotes, project design and technical support,
• To prepare quotes and conduct pre-contract negotiations,
• To contact you about your request and follow up on your requests and complaints,
• To ensure the security of our website and information systems and to block unwanted (spam) submissions,
• To fulfill our legal obligations and respond to information requests from competent authorities.

Your data is not used for advertising or marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Which legal grounds do we rely on?

Your personal data is processed on the basis of the following legal grounds listed in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the KVKK:

• Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (quote and order processes) – subparagraph (c),
• Being necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation – subparagraph (ç),
• Being necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right – subparagraph (e),
• Being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (responding to your request, site security) – subparagraph (f).

How do we collect your data?

Your personal data is collected through the contact and quote form on our website, by email, by phone and in face-to-face meetings, by partly automated (site form and server logs) and non-automated means.

The information and files you send through the contact form are forwarded to our company by email; they are not stored separately in the website’s database.

The cookies used on our website, their purposes and your consent options are explained in the Cookie Policy; non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.

To whom do we transfer your data?

Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, to the following persons and organizations:

• Within the scope of your request and only to the extent necessary, to the business partners we work with during project design or installation,
• To the companies from which we receive website hosting, email and information technology services,
• Upon request, to legally authorized public institutions and organizations and judicial authorities.

The servers of some of the companies we receive services from may be located abroad. In that case, your data is transferred abroad only in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK (for example, standard contracts).

How long do we keep your data?

Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation. At the end of these periods, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data.

We take the necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unauthorized access to your data, loss of data and unlawful processing. The connection between our website and your browser is encrypted (SSL).

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to us you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information about it if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with its purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom the data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
• Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
• Request deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request that correction, deletion and destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• Request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing

How can you apply?

You can submit your requests regarding your rights in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller in one of the following ways:

• With a petition bearing a wet signature, in person or through a notary, to our address above,
• Signed with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature, to info@mottolight.com.tr,
• From the email address you have previously given us and that is registered in our system, to info@mottolight.com.tr.

Your application must include your first and last name, your signature if the application is in writing, your Turkish ID number (or, if you are a foreign national, your nationality and passport number), your residential or business address for notification, your email address for notification if any, your phone number and the subject of your request.

Your application is concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.

Changes to this notice

This privacy notice may be updated in line with changes in legal regulations and our data processing processes. The current text is always published on this page.
