StriPix P5 is a wide-bodied, pixel-controlled linear LED luminaire with 5 independent pixels per meter. Each 200 mm pixel consists of 7 LEDs, with its color and brightness controlled separately; the 24.5 mm wide diffuser spreads the light over a wider surface.
The StriPix family offers the same LED and control infrastructure as MidiPix in a wider housing. P5 is the family’s most sparsely pixelated member: if full, thick and easily legible lines of light are wanted on tall buildings viewed from afar, it is the right starting point.
A full line, distinct from afar
The wide diffuser creates a thicker line of light than slim profiles. Towers seen from different parts of the city, long bridge railings and large-scale floor cornices stand out clearly from afar with this line.
A durable housing
The anodized aluminum housing, UV-resistant polycarbonate diffuser, IP68 water and dust protection and IK10 impact resistance protect the luminaire against the outdoor environment; it operates between −30 °C and +65 °C.
Control, power supply and lengths
SPI is standard, DMX512 optional; the power supply is 24 V DC or 48 V DC. Standard lengths of 200, 400, 600, 1000 and 2000 mm and project-specific lengths are connected with lockable mounting brackets and M12 IP68 connectors.
