StriPix P16

StriPix P16 is an IP68-rated, pixel-controlled linear LED luminaire with 16 pixels per meter and a wide 24.5 mm housing that draws lines of light both finely detailed and full on facades viewed up close. It is made in MC, DW, RGB and RGBW options.

Overview

StriPix P16 is the highest-resolution member of the StriPix family: it has 16 pixels per meter, each 62.5 mm long with 3 LEDs. It combines a wide housing with dense pixels; the light looks both detailed and full.

While the high pixel density allows fine light trails and smooth color transitions, the 24.5 mm diffuser carries these animations as a thick, bright line. It suits facades seen both from pedestrian level and from across the street.

Detail and a strong line together

At mall entrances, hotel canopies, bridge railings and low-rise commercial buildings, StriPix P16 stands out when smooth animation is wanted but a slim profile falls short. When the luminaires are arranged at intervals, it also works like a low-resolution media surface.

Protection and durability

Anodized aluminum housing and UV-resistant polycarbonate diffuser; IP68 water and dust protection, IK10 impact resistance and an operating range of −30 °C to +65 °C.

Control and mounting

SPI is standard, DMX512 optional; it is powered at 24 V DC or 48 V DC. Since it requires more channels per meter, the control plan is made in advance. Standard lengths of 125–2000 mm and project-specific lengths are installed with lockable mounting brackets and M12 IP68 connectors.

Try the colors

In the StriPix P16 luminaire, every 62.5 mm is one pixel. Each of the 32 pixels in a two-meter luminaire is controlled separately: choose an effect and watch how the colors flow along the luminaire.

RGB Color

RGB StriPix P16 draws fine color gradients and fast effects with its dense pixels; the wide housing shows these effects bright and full. It is a strong option for commercial facades and entertainment venues.

What are the pixel pitch and LED count of StriPix P16?

There are 16 pixels and 48 LEDs per meter; each pixel is 62.5 mm long with 3 LEDs. A 1000 mm luminaire is controlled like 16 separate points of light.

What is the difference between StriPix P16 and MidiPix P16?

The resolution and LED structure are the same; StriPix P16 comes with a wider 24.5 mm housing and diffuser. The line of light looks thicker and fuller; MidiPix P16 is a slim 19 mm profile.

How many meters of StriPix P16 does one DMX universe control?

32 meters in the MC version, about 10.6 meters in the DW and RGB versions, and 8 meters in the RGBW version. Due to the high pixel density, the control system requires more channels per meter.
