MidiPix P5 is a pixel-controlled linear LED luminaire with 5 independent pixels per meter. The pixels are 200 mm apart and each consists of 7 LEDs; this wide pitch lets light flow in soft, calm transitions on tall blocks and long facade lines viewed from a distance.
It is the lowest-resolution member of the MidiPix family. Fewer pixels per meter mean fewer control channels for the same length: large surfaces are lit with fewer drivers and a simpler control infrastructure.
For large facades read from afar
On large-scale surfaces such as skyscraper cornices, long bridge lines and towers visible from all over the city, the overall picture matters more than detail. At this scale, MidiPix P5 clearly carries color waves, slow transitions and breathing light scenarios.
The same slim housing, the same durability
The family’s 19 mm wide anodized aluminum housing and UV-resistant polycarbonate diffuser are used in this model too; with IP68, IK10 and an operating range of −30 °C to +65 °C, it works on exterior facades for years.
Control and mounting
The standard version runs on SPI, the optional version on DMX512; the power supply is 24 V DC or 48 V DC. Standard lengths from 200 mm to 2000 mm and project-specific lengths are installed quickly with lockable mounting brackets and M12 IP68 connectors.
