MidiPix P8 is a pixel-controlled linear LED luminaire with 8 independent pixels per meter. Every 125 mm section is a separate point of light, its color and brightness managed individually from the control system. So the luminaire does not just light a line; it creates light scenarios that flow, rise and breathe along that line.
Sitting between the 5-pixel P5 and the 16-pixel P16 in the MidiPix family, P8 looks like a continuous line up close, while its animations read clearly from afar. It is one of the pixel luminaires we use most on bridges, hotel and residence facades and landmark buildings.
Designed for facades
The anodized aluminum housing and UV-resistant polycarbonate diffuser combine with IP68 water and dust protection and IK10 impact resistance; the luminaire operates between −30 °C and +65 °C. The slim 19 mm cross-section disappears inside facade profiles and railings.
SPI or DMX512 control
The standard version runs on SPI; a DMX512 version is made for existing DMX infrastructures. The power supply is 24 V DC, optionally 48 V DC.
Four color options, easy mounting
The same housing is made with single-color (MC), dynamic white (DW), RGB and RGBW LEDs. Besides standard lengths of 125–2000 mm, project-specific lengths are made; lockable mounting brackets and M12 IP68 connectors speed up installation, and the housing color is chosen to suit the facade.
