MiniRado TRI is the frameless member of the in-ground family. The luminaire is mounted flush with the ground; instead of a frame, only a thin line of light is visible on the surface. It is designed for museum courtyards, hotel entrances, minimal landscape areas and the base of glass facades, where architectural detail comes first: the lighting stays invisible and only the wall emerges in light.
A continuous line on the ground
The compact 42 × 88 mm cross-section is recessed into the paving and ends flush with the ground material. When the luminaires are lined up end to end, a single line of light forms on the ground; the light emerges from this line and spreads up along the wall.
Optic and power options
There are 15°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° symmetrical and 15°×40° and 22°×50° asymmetrical lenses. The single-color (MC) version is made in every length in two power levels with 3535 High Power or 3030 Mid-Power LEDs, with an efficacy of 120 lm/W at 4000K; the DW, RGB and RGBW versions use 3535 High Power LEDs.
Control and durability
The MC version is controlled via PWM, 1-10V DIM and DALI; the DW, RGB and RGBW versions via DMX512. It is powered at 220-240 V AC with an internal driver, or 24 V or 48 V DC with an external driver. The 24 V and 48 V DC versions have M12 IP68 connectors; the 220-240 V AC version has no connector and is made with a cable outlet only. The tempered, screen-printed glass and anodized aluminum housing are IP68 and IK10 rated; it operates between −30 °C and +70 °C.
