MiniRado ING

MiniRado ING is a compact in-ground luminaire with a 316L stainless steel frame; recessed into the ground, it lights facades, columns and garden walls from the base upward. It is IP68 and IK10 rated, with seven optics and four light options.

Overview

MiniRado ING is the wall washer recessed into the ground: the luminaire sits flush with the ground, and the light rises from the ground and spreads up along the wall. By day only a thin stainless steel frame is visible; at night the facade, column or garden wall is lit from base to top. It hides the lighting within the landscape in squares, entrance axes and around historic buildings.

316L stainless steel frame

The frame is made of 316L-grade stainless steel, resistant to demanding conditions such as the seaside and heavy pedestrian traffic. Together with tempered, screen-printed glass and an anodized aluminum housing, the luminaire has IP68 water and dust protection and IK10 impact resistance; it operates between −30 °C and +70 °C.

Optic and power options

It is made with five symmetrical lenses from 15° to 90° and two asymmetrical lenses, 15°×40° and 22°×50°. The single-color (MC) version is made in every length in two power levels with 3535 High Power or 3030 Mid-Power LEDs, with an efficacy of 120 lm/W at 4000K; the dynamic white, RGB and RGBW versions use 3535 High Power LEDs.

Control and power supply

The MC version is controlled via PWM, 1-10V DIM and DALI; the DW, RGB and RGBW versions via DMX512. It is powered at 220-240 V AC with an internal driver, or 24 V or 48 V DC with an external driver. The 24 V and 48 V DC versions have M12 IP68 connectors; the 220-240 V AC version has no connector and is made with a cable outlet only. Standard lengths range from 250 mm to 1300 mm.

MC Single color

The light rising from the ground is amber or a single white between 2700K and 6500K. Each length has two codes, high and low power; dimmed via 1-10V and DALI, it is linked to night scenarios in square and garden lighting.

What is the difference between MiniRado ING and MiniRado TRI?

On MiniRado ING a 316L stainless steel frame is visible on the ground. MiniRado TRI is frameless; it is mounted flush with the ground and only a thin line of light remains on the surface.

How is it mounted in the ground?

The luminaire is recessed into the ground with its frame at ground level; the light spreads from the ground up along the wall. Mounting details are given in the technical drawing.

What optic options are there?

There are 15°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° symmetrical and 15°×40° and 22°×50° asymmetrical lens options. A narrow angle is chosen for tall columns, a wide or asymmetrical angle for wide, low walls.

Can it be walked on, and is it durable?

The luminaire has IK10 impact resistance and IP68 water and dust protection; its front is tempered, screen-printed glass and it operates between −30 °C and +70 °C.

How is MiniRado ING controlled?
