MidiRay shares the same slim 19 mm housing as the pixel-controlled MidiPix; the difference is that it delivers light in one piece along the line, without dividing it. With 60 LEDs per meter and a high-transmittance polycarbonate diffuser, it creates a continuous, homogeneous line along the luminaire. It is used to bring out architectural lines such as floor cornices, railings, eave soffits and window frames at night with a calm, crisp line.
The whole line lights up at once
All the LEDs of the luminaire are controlled together; the line lights up in the same color and brightness at once. Movement on the facade is built not inside the luminaire but between groups of luminaires: each floor or facade surface can be lit, dimmed or changed in color in sequence as a separate group. This simple operation reduces the control infrastructure in projects that do not need pixel control.
From single color to RGBW
The single-color (MC) version delivers up to 1,200 lm per meter with 2835 Mid-Power LEDs and is made in amber and whites from 2700K to 6500K. Dynamic white (DW) adjusts between warm and cool white; RGB produces color mixes, and RGBW pure white in addition to colors.
Control, mounting and durability
The single-color version is controlled via PWM, 1-10V DIM and DALI; the DW, RGB and RGBW versions via PWM. The power supply is 24 V DC, optionally 48 V DC. The anodized aluminum housing has IP68 water and dust protection, IK10 impact resistance and an operating range of −30 °C to +65 °C; it is installed quickly with lockable mounting brackets and M12 connectors.
