LineaRay uses the same 24.5 mm wide housing as the pixel-controlled StriPix and delivers light without dividing it along the line. The wide diffuser surface makes the line look full and distinct even from a distance; it is preferred on large-scale surfaces such as bridge lines, long horizontal facade bands, stadium and shopping mall facades.
A full line legible from afar
It shares the same LEDs and light values as the slim-bodied MidiRay; the difference lies in the surface the light spreads across. The wider diffuser distributes the same luminous flux over a larger surface: the line does not dazzle up close and reads as a thick, steady line from afar. The whole line lights up in the same color and brightness at once; scenarios on the facade are built between groups of luminaires.
Four light options
The single-color (MC) version delivers up to 1,200 lm per meter with 2835 Mid-Power LEDs and is made in amber and whites from 2700K to 6500K. Dynamic white (DW) adjusts between warm and cool white; RGB produces color mixes, and RGBW pure white in addition to colors.
Control, mounting and durability
The single-color version is controlled via PWM, 1-10V DIM and DALI; the DW, RGB and RGBW versions via PWM. The power supply is 24 V DC, optionally 48 V DC. The anodized aluminum housing is IP68 and IK10 rated and operates between −30 °C and +65 °C; it is installed with lockable mounting brackets and M12 connectors.
